I still remember vividly what happened when I met you at the entrance of Institute of Ecumenical Education. Your greeting was a smile. I never worried myself to memorise your name. I referred to you as, “That girl that smiles.”
In life I have met many persons with a mind filled with determination and eagerness and courage to make it in life but they are always in fear about what the future holds for them, which is normal. But you are such an exceptional in this aspect. In all odds and hopelessness, you are always calm and putting on a smiling face. When you smile, the entire surrounding is always reanimated with it, for your smile is such a genuine one that flows with life. You were born with a golden smile because nothing negative in life has removed or changed it for you.
Your trust in God is something to write home about. Even when I thought that all hope was gone for you, you reassured me that your God will see you through and He did. Ezeagu has really given birth to a daughter. I so much admire that moment when you smile and a cluster of sweat will occupied the space between the root of your nose to its tip. You are the only person that used to call me the way my mother calls me. Keep that smiling face evergreen.
As you celebrate your birthday today, I pray God to continue pouring His confidence in you, grant you all your good heart desires for His glory and for the good of humanity. Amen.
